Best Strikes

Thu, 10 Sept 2026 · 6:00 PM · Replay Bar

Best Strikes is back at Replay Bar on Thursday 10th September, kicking off at 6pm — grab a drink, settle in, and get those flippers warmed up.

Qualifying is all about chasing the best score you can on each machine. You'll get your shots on the games, and your top score on each one gets stacked up against everyone else's best — so every ball is a chance to climb the leaderboard. Best scores across the board decide who moves on.

New Town Round Robin

New Town
Max Match Play

Saturday afternoon saw a great crew descend on a private New Town venue for the round robin, and what a great night it was!

Huge thanks go to Brett for hosting — his collection is second to none, and neither is his hospitality. Between rounds, people kept warm around the firepit, and a solid stack of pizzas kept everyone fueled for the long haul. Photos were thin on the ground this time — everyone was too busy playing and chatting to reach for their phones, and the few we did get weren't much better: the pinball neon sign prize was so bright it washed out the camera every time we tried to photograph the winners, and poor Bennet ended up cropped clean out of the finals shot by accident. Sorry, Bennet!

Replay Bar
Flip FrenzyGroup Match Play (4-player groups, 4 games/round)

Flip Frenzy came back to Replay Bar on Thursday night with an ACT-inspired twist, and the room delivered exactly the kind of fast, chaotic energy the format promises. Qualifying was a flat-out scramble — find an opponent, play a game, find the next one, repeat until the clock ran out — with only five machines on the floor for the frenzy this time round (Black Knight had been whisked away to TazPin). Scoring stayed tight all night too, with plenty of players battling it out for that all-important finals cutoff line, where every single win and loss carried real weight.
